Christmas with Schweitzer

In Announcements, News by Jenn Brown

The Christmas Season is here! This year, we’ll host our Christmas Cantata on Sunday Morning, Dec. 19 and three Christmas Eve candlelight services on Dec. 24 at 3, 5 & 7 pm.

Schweitzer Choir Christmas Cantata
This year’s cantata, titled, The Work of Christmas will highlight the story of Christ throughout all of Scripture. This will be a beautiful morning of worship. The cantata will be shared during both morning services on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 9 and 10:45 am. Plus, we will live-stream the cantata online that morning. This is a great day to invite a friend!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
Friday, Dec. 24, we will host three candlelight services at 3, 5 & 7 pm. All services will be inside, in our Sanctuary.
We will sing traditional songs, enjoy hearing the story of Christ and conclude with candlelight.

A nursery for kids under 2 years will be available at 3 & 5 pm. We’ll also have golf carts to provide rides throughout the parking lot.

A few other things you can expect:
• Photo Areas: ideal for your family Christmas pic
• Candlelight Services, less than one hour with Communion packets
• A small take home gift for each family
• Cookies, Coffee and Juice in the Fellowship Area
• Kids activity kits for the services available, as needed

If you’d like to volunteer as an usher, greeter, parking assistant, or photographer at any of the services,
let us know by completing this form here.

Share a Christmas Ornament

As we continue to decorate our space for Christmas – we want to invite you to bring an ornament to share with us! We have a big tree in our lobby space that we’d like to decorate with ornaments from our fellow Schweitzer Friends. Bring your ornament anytime before Christmas Eve.
