Job Title:Video Production Intern for Schweitzer Church & Flourish Community Development Corporation
Reports to: Director of Communications
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic video production intern to assist our creative team in creating engaging video content that inspires and celebrates life change.
The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter with strong technical skills and a passion for storytelling through video.
- Assist in the production of video content for web, social media, and other digital platforms
- Collaborate with the communications team to brainstorm and develop new video concepts and ideas – and for creating a special celebration video for an event in September.
- Assist with pre-production tasks such as storyboarding, location scouting, and casting.
- Capture video content and edit testimonials
- Help set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.
- Participate in post-production tasks such as editing, color grading, and sound mixing.
- Create motion graphics and other visual effects to enhance the final video product.
- Manage and organize video files and assets in a digital asset management system.
- Stay up to date with the latest video production techniques and trends.
- Currently enrolled in a film, video production, or related program at a college or university.
- Strong technical skills in video production equipment and software, such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for storytelling through video and a desire to create content that makes a positive impact.
We are pleased to offer a scholarship pay ranging from $15 to $20 an hour for the duration of the internship. The scholarship will be paid out at the end of the internship, provided that all agreed-upon tasks have been completed satisfactorily.
This is a part-time internship, and we are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week for a period of at least three months (May through Sept 1).
