Father, by your Spirit, would you guide us into all truth. Help us to hear and be attentive to your voice as we work through this study, in the name of Jesus, Your son, we pray. Amen

• What insights did you gain?
• What questions did it raise?

Discussion Questions:
• What do you know already about the life of John?

This week, we are talking about the light of Christ and how it shows up in John and as Jesus.
• How do these two ideas fit together?

• How have you seen the light of Jesus on display in someone else? Did this person point you or others to Jesus?
• Have you seen people in your life reject the light of Christ in dark places? How do you respond to this?

Lord, help us be a light for you in this world. Thank you for giving us the right to be children of God.
