- What stands out to you most from David’s last speech?
- Why do you think he emphasizes what he does?
1 Chronicles 28:9 “…acknowledge the God of your Father…”
- Acknowledge is translated from the Hebrew word yada. For other examples of this word yada read Psalm 9:10, Exodus 2:25, and Genesis 4:1. What does this teach us about what it means to know the Lord?
- How would you describe the difference between knowing God and knowing about God?
- If you were going to help someone who wanted to know God better, what practical advice would you give them?
